B.I.G. B.R.O.N.C.O. is Bear Stearns' secret undersea research facility, just off the coast of Bon Bon island. Dr. Lafayette discovered it accidentally once whilst scuba diving. They are known to do twisted career science experiments. As part of Bear's quest for eternal corporate existence, the Children of B.I.G. B.R.O.N.C.O. were created there.
Speculation
- Bronco is a Spanish-derived word for wild, untameable horse. Nicole is associated with disruptive behaviour, horses, and artificial lifeforms, and so it is possible she was somehow related to the Children of B.I.G. B.R.O.N.C.O.[1]. This is made even more likely by the comment her friend makes in the French Ending, "[Nicole] had a craving and appetite for data. She was hungry. Why not ? [...] What does a love for data means ? People like the things in which they are born. How can we explain the inclination for childhood’s rooms and passageways?"--if Nicole was an artificial lifeform, one might say she was "born in data".
- Franco is known to have come from the Ocean, and as Big Bronco is underwater, this may be what is meant i.e. that she is an artificial financial lifeform of some sort (which would part-way explain her supernatural beatdown when she was wounded in the SWAN ending[2].
