Ann

Mentioned only twice, and in passing each time. Her first mention was in How to Greet an Unwelcome Guest in English, with the phrase "Ann! What you doing here?". Her second mentioned was in How to Pronounce 25, which speculates how she was doing after "the break up". Due to Ann's sparse and rare mentions, it is possible that she is either insignificant, or even disliked, the latter theory supported by the fact that she was an unwelcome guest in her first mention. Notably, her name is very similar to Ayn, as in Ayn Rand; connections to Rand have been drawn from Search Words That Return One Result.

Brian

Mentioned briefly, the least amount is known about Brian.

Don

An enigmatic figure who “knows many important things” (How to Compliment Someone in English ), including “what happened on the riverboat” (How to Tell a Secret in English ), and whose “abilities are beyond question” (HtP Question ). He does not live near Hal (HtP Live ).

Chief's Ex-Wife

Only mentioned once, in “How To Pronounce Connection” , where it was related that she had some sort of connection with President City.

Colleen

Mentioned once in  "How to Pronounce Femme Fatale. " In this video, Announcer says, "Colleen is a femme fatale when it comes to the tacos."

Dr. Lafayette

Mentioned in "How to Pronounce Dr. " By the way he is mentioned in the video, Dr. Lafayette sounds as if he might be a psychologist or a therapist. This also gives a hint that Announcer might have mental issues, or an unresolved past that took place before their mission.

Dr. Colorado

Mentioned in "How to Pronounce Dr. " Due to the vague mention, it is unsure what kind of doctor Dr. Colorado is.

Ed

Only mentioned in two videos; "How to Say Hello and Goodbye in English ", and "How to Greet an Unwelcome Guest in English." Due to these two videos, it is possible that Ed is either disliked or insignificant.

Hal

Scarcely mentioned character about whom little is known. It is possible he is involved in business or administration in some way, similar to Jackie; In "How to End a Business Meeting in English ", it is related that he is asked to “write up everyone’s action items”.

Henri

Minor Charater mentioned in "How to Pronounce Can and Can't. " According to this video, Henri can do things that Franco can't. Also appeared in How to Pronounce 24.

Lisa

A DJ & neighbour to the Mysterious Woman, only mentioned in her debut video, How to Pronounce 29.

Mendoza

A seemingly important figure, possibly even above Chief in rank, and is possibly the one who told PB Speaker, “I don’t care what Chief said, you are going to complete this assignment,” as related in “How to Give Orders in English.

Speculation

  • Though Mendoza's gender is unknown, it seems more likely that they are female than male. In How to Pronounce Real, it is said that "Mendoza can be a real diva during wartime"; the term "diva" is usually (though by no means exclusively) applied to women. Furthermore, Mendoza is the forename of the female protagonist from Kage Baker's book series, Novels of the Company (the focus of which is not dissimilar to certain themes in PB)[1].
  • Whilst Mendoza is not a significantly popular forename, it is a very popular Spanish surname[2]. Hence, "Mendoza" may be a Spaniard who is being referred to by their last name, a practice that is not unheard with respect to people of high status (something which Mendoza certainly seems to possess).
  • Could Mendoza be the leader of the guerillas they cooperated with? (HtP coordinate: "It was difficult to coordinate with the guerillas"; HtP can/can't: " I can still hope for Mendoza's cooperation, but I can't imagine how we'll explain this to Chief")
    • That would explain the Spanish name, if we go along with the assumption that this part of the narrative takes place in Latin America, which there is evidence for).

Ptolemy

Little is known about this character, other than the fact that he was transferred to the Malibu Office at his own request (HtP Ptolemy ).

Trish

Minor character mentioned only thrice, and known only for her supposedly excellent dancing, as noted in "How to Compliment Someone in English "  (though this may be contradicted by "How to Argue in English ", where PB Speaker says, “I never actually thought you were a good dancer”). In How to Describe an Unpleasant Memory , it is mentioned that “Trish talked loudly throughout dinner. I think she'd had one too many drinks”, which could imply that she was present during the mission i.e. when the squad shared champagne, and that she is Unnamed Female. This would also correlate with the later quote in "How to Pronounce Femme Fatale, " “She stumbled into my tent an hour later, surprisingly tipsy for a femme fatale”, which describes a female squad member as having had too much to drink. However, this is unlikely as PB Speaker seems to hold animosity towards Trish in the majority (two out of three) of her mentions, as above in How to Describe & How to Argue (the only exception being How to Compliment, though, as noted above, even this may be insincere). It is also interesting to note that one of the videos mentioning Trish is "How to Pronounce Happy Birthday, " saying “We'd all like to wish Trish a happy birthday.”; The video was posted on June 6th, 2012, and so this may be her birthday.
